The Eggtimer is a thermometer to see how an egg is being boiled. The Eggtimer tells it by changing the body color.

If half of Eggtimer's body color is changed, it shows that eggs are cooked medium-boiled eggs. However, graduations of Eggtimer will get influenced by size of egg or heat level. This means that the graduations of Eggtimer work relatively to show how boiled eggs are being boiled. We recommend to use the Eggtimer under same conditions such as size of pan, heat level, and volume of water. When Eggtimer shows the same level of color change with the previous timer under the same conditions with the previous time, we gurantee boiled eggs are cooked identically with the previous time.

It does not matter with the function of Eggtimer. Eggtimer is our own work. In the making process, small bubbles can be formed in Eggtimer. It is clear that the bubbles have no influence on the function of Eggtimer. Then, size and weight of Eggtimers are slightly different one by one. That is because of our work by hand.

Except for the case of Eggtimer trouble, this comes from heating not enough to change the color of the Eggtimer. Once check the volume of water and the heat level of the pan. In the case of induction cooker, it is possible that only a part of the water comes to the boil and other parts do not reach to boil despite bubbling.
